Two good cunts came from the other side of the world (Switzerland) to have a New Zealand adventure and Nz did not disappoint. They loved New Zealand from the moment double brown touched there lips and it brought them many great times.

They made the most of there time here, travelling both islands in a month. Experiencing things from electric fences, having there first beer bongs, to sleeping at Porirua skate park. The defiantly left there mark on us especially Ben's car ha ha.

Righto so the Blenheim trail jam is once again over and done with, I think that was the 4th one? It was a wicked as turnout with 40+ riders attending from around the South island and Brodie Knox from Brisbane. It was a awesome day, heaps of sweet riding and beer drinking, definately some bangers thrown down, brodies lofty as Backies, and tyler the crazy little cunt's triple whips, yes, triple, along with tuck to late whips, something in the mot water I think.
Managed to catch up with a bunch of dudes that I haven't seen in ages from Nelson and mot ways which was also cool. I should probably mention that Eamon learnt flairs in the dirt quarter at the trails, then shredded a bunch at kaikoura park, kid is crazy!
Anyway, here's a video somebody chucked together of the day, I'm not sure who, and a picture of Eamon shredding a flair at height in Kaikoura.

Right, the Blenhiem trail jam/piss up is happening on the 24th of April in springcreek. How the trails condition will be, I am unsure but they have always been super fun trails to shred on and the after partys super sick. So anyone that somehow doesn't know, roll up to them, I know I'm bringing a van load at least from chch and some mot/nelson boys will come over to.

I'm in Blenheim at the moment, my home town, visiting for a couple of days, and fuck, can't wait to get back to chch to be fair, this place is dead, the skatepark sucks and unfortunately the trails have never been worse due to the dry weather, whoever is going to be fixin em for the jam in 24 days better take the rest of the month off work coz that shit needs tending to! Good to catch up with couple of the boys here and family though, Puha is still rippin and will soon to be the only rider left in Blenheim other than 2 groms, downhill much?!
I do hear that the mot bmx scene is still ripping, something in the water over those ways that seems to produce some of the finest, if any of you mot boys are reading this, hit me with some pics or vids I can put up!

Also, this is the kink team at Jelly park in chch on the Friday morning before they left at like 9am getting repped up by what now haha. "dangerboy", a maybe 30 odd male was learning the ways of bmx, doyle taking charge of the interview and the rest of the boys jumping the hip in the background, rad!

Wow, 2 posts in one day, shit's legit.

Ok so if you didn't know the kink team is in NZ at the moment, Robbie, Travis and Ben are travelling around the bottom of the South Island with them at the moment. I had the chance to also meet them on Sunday night which was unreal, super super awesome dudes. And seeing my fav rider Chris Doyle was sick, so i got him to sign this t-shirt and I framed it haha. I know how Puha felt to meet Dave Mirra now!

Also Travis has a bit of a blog dedicated to the kink trip, some sick pictures up of the team riding Thompson bowl on there! Check it out HERE.

Also couple jams coming up, first one is this weekend being the gorge road jam in queenstown, be super legit no doubt as those jumps are some of the best in nz right now!

Also the following weekend (20th March), is the Tim Hales shredathon at the Wanaka skatepark, I believe raising money to go towards the new park upgrades.

Happening this date also is a jam at Kelly McGarrys jumps near motueka. I hear the mot boys have got these running sweet, I've only been there once but they were super cool before they were pampered that's for sure.

So with these being something like the 5th and 6th jams in a row, you pretty much suck shit if you havn't made it to any that have been happening! Wtf are you up to, get out there and ride!!

Farm jam 2010

Well the farm jam 2010 has just been and man what a day it was, the jumps are absolutely amazing and flow really well, even brakeless. Results for bmx were,

1. Paul langlands
2. Dane Searls
3. Kane O'Hagen
4. Jake Prebble

Langlands deserved first, if you haven't seen this dude ride you should, he rips dirt jumps to pieces, amazing to watch.
We arrived Thursday night riding Dunedin and then getting lost and ending up in Invercargill, then Winton, then finally to the Farm. We got there just as it was getting dark and couldn't resist going up the hill to look at the jumps, and man they were sick..
Wake up Friday morning and it's drizzling which was a bit worrying however it just turned out to be mother natures way of watering the jumps for us and saving us the hassle because it came out mint at around 1pm (might I add we were rather drunk by now so it worked out well for the dutch courage to get that first run out of the way haha) and we shredded the rest of the day till about 7 that night.
Come that night a few of us got pissed in the wool shed, true south island style it was just the south island boys on it and Dane Searls from Oz.
So slightly hungover the next morning we cruised up to the jumps for a competition filled day. I'll let the pic's tell the rest.

Well we just got back from a crazy trip up to Taupo for the vans jedi jam 010. 6 of us south island boys went up to represent in alcohol drinking and shit talking more than anything else and I think we succeeded. So many funny storys, so much good riding it was insane. Nasty still absolutely rips, and seeing Colin MacKay ride in all his steez was legit.

Anyway, here is the serious side of one of two posts I'm going to make, here are the pics off my camera (majority are shit but I don't care) of the Pro dirt comp on the Saturday. The second post will be pics off Dannys camera documenting the whole trip of everything but riding haha.

6 of us are off to the Jed Jam in Taupo this Thursday and I plan on photo documenting the whole trip so shit's no doubt going to get real up there and along the way. Along with that in mind I'm moving to the big smoke chch for a while at least straight after Jed Jam so will be able to get into things down there a bit. Right well the Saturday just gone was Puha's birthday jam in mot. Was a super legit day in all aspects, the turnout, the riding, the weather and the beer. Everyone was shredding and a good time was had. Mot is a pretty fun set up. It must be mentioned that even the man, out of nowhere, K WOL showed up with ham wallet and 2 others in tow to represent as well, trekking all the way from chch.
As the day got on the drinking riding ratio evened out and then the drinking just took over and the after party began at Puha's brothers sweet sweet pad and shit just got real to say the least haha. The legendary 3rd stage of Washington Reserve Skatepark is finally up for approval by the Christchurch City Council. It will be on the meeting agenda of the Hagley Ferrymead Community Board when they meet on Wednesday the 7th of October at 3pm, at the City Council’s Linwood Service Centre. Once they have signed it off, it then goes to the full City Council for approval. The meeting is a public meeting and is open from 3pm. Here's a bunch of pics I got off Puha and Griz who slyly shot these snaps of the refulgent el puhatchi and el gringo fighting it out at the skatepark. Fisty cuffs to all fuck, haha. I thought I had more but I've lost the rest dammit!!

First of all, they tried to battle it out with tricks, El Puhatchi throwing a up rail to barspin...

El Gringo responded with a stretched out Griz air...

Then they battled it out side to side in the air as the battle for the greatness continued...

This didn't settle the score at all so wrestling ensued on the ground, in the form of El Puhachi enducing El Gringo to a withering mess in the form of the BOSTON CRAB...

You would have thought the brute force of the neanderthall El Puhatchi straining on El gringo's legs would have him out for the count but no, El Gringo managed to flip it over into a inverted facelock neckbreaker ...

SLAYER, MEGADETH and skatepark upgrades

First off, slayer and megadeth are coming to NZ, October 5th, I believe, for one show in Auckland! This is super, super sweet. Tickets go on sale Monday 10th August, make sure you get one!

In other news I've been hounding the council for the plans for the design upgrades for the Picton and Renwick skateparks. The guy that did Bromley designed it apparently, there is no specifications at all for it, at least as yet anyway. I'm trying to get them now.
I don't see why they didn't get someone on to it to re design the parks and build them also. In saying that though, at least there is signs of transitions.

Ok Well on Saturday I had a bunch of gaps and shit I needed to get out of my head so we went out with a video and picture camera and started shooting. Here's the first pic of a gap into the firestation carpark. You can't see off this pic but it's a run up across the main road, quick hop up a foot path and then a quick hop off over a 2 metre or so garden and over the fence you can see into the carpark.

I'm getting the video footage and the rest of the pics/angles etc of the day and the other gaps that were hit and will get 'em up here soon..

Well it started when I got home about 4.30am Saturday morning from a rather large night out, to be woken by a phonecall by ye ol' Griz at 8.15am saying he's in the driveway waiting. Shit. I got up still drunk and away we went to Reefton. Chundering ensued along the way, mine alcohol induced and Jesse's car sick enduced haha. Anyway, hungover or not, it was a sick day. On Saturday we headed to Scott Irvines place for the jam there, and holy shit was it sick, so many sick tricks went down and the jumps were so amazing, boosting jumps hard. Also last night Stefan, Sleaze and I was street riding when a chick invited us to a party. Sleaze wasnt keen but Stefan and I were so we rolled there with a 15 pack of calsberg between us for some casuals. As soon as we got there shit hit the fan, more a domestic dispute rather than a party, but hey, we take what we can get, with crazed lunatic girls smashing shit and crying and being typical completly over emotional girls. However man are we glad we went there, there was endless entertainment from guys getting smashed by girls, to the crazy girls throwing bottles at their boyfriends and throwing door handles through doors haha, all while Stefan and I sat on the couch slowly getting drunker and lippier trying not to get stabbed or bottled by lunatics. I even got a small video of it on my phone but can't seem to upload it. Anyway, that's the updates, we were amped off it so had to post it on the blog.

Full lack of pictures on the blog lately, so we'll get some this weekend.

Trail Jam '09 Report.

Well i have no pictures because was to busy riding and drinking double brown so words will have to do for now.

The weather looked dodgy right up untill the day but wake up Saturday morning and it's a stunning day for a bangin' jam and most riders have arrived Friday night. Quite a few showed up on the Saturday as well, it was a bigger turnout than I expected, riders and non-riders filling every extra space between the trees up.

I whole bunch of shit went down on the day from tom's style as fuck 360's to Kane O'hagen who crossed the straight doing 3 whips and 720's etc clean as to the massive trains everyone would join in on! As the day went on people got drunker and tired and a few slams happened but no trips to the hospital, which I was personally stoked about as I had to go there last years jam, and one before that Puha did. We had a high jump contest which Eamon from Nelson took out, except we couldn't raise the bar any higher as we had no more points to sit it on haha. The day ended with it starting to rain but that was cool because the weather held out all day for us all to shred. It was so sick seeing literally all the chch dudes come up for it, even Kwol, maddog and joey hit them up, just to name a few! And it wasn't over there, the night had already begun as everyone rocked round and completly filled every spare space in my lounge and got pretty gnarley. About 9pm we all rocked into the bar where my get together for my 22nd was being held and shit got real. I can't remember a whole lot from the night but I know it was fucking sick and a good time was had by all...well almost...

Robbie, Scott and Ungy as I found out the next morning had got slightly roughed up by some fucken Blenheim scum. Robbie got his hoodie pulled over his face and smacked up by 4 dudes, Scott got a couple blows to the head and Ungy got blind sided to the face by the sounds of things, not to nice an end for those few unfortunatly. It must be mentioned though that 'T' and Keenan, a couple maori groms got in on the action when they saw the fellow riders getting roughed up and jumped in and did their best to help out against these maggots that seem to want to fight for no reason, note they are only 15 and held their own against 20+ yo's twice their size.

Anyway that's what happened in a nut shell, so much more went down that I would have missed out but yea, most people were there from the South island to see it anyway, maybe Stefan will add up his version of the day at some stage to. Double brown, a sweet fire BBQ and some pure trail shredding sums up the jam. Everyone said the jam was fucking sweet if people said otherwise i didn't hear them. Everyone was there no pictures from me to busy riding, i know brohan and Joey have some so maybe some will be leaked one day. Had a high jump comp and Eamon won as the non drunk guy on the blue bike is eliminated from all high jump comps ever. Robbie managed to rep edh hard and one the high air in the quarter got to like six black marks shit was high. Fagen is crazy best trick with a double brown box on his head. Awesome to see the dirt sleepers hitting up the jumps flying through the air getting sideways, Maddog came from the grave and showed the non believers he could ride street tires on dirt. Thanks to our boy Trav for pulling through with some prizes Puha was amped. Shitty poor quilty video soon maybe.........

The Arrowtown jam was super fun, nice chilled out day with crazy changing weather. At the end of the day it was dry enough to get a little ride in at gorge road, Travis should have pics and a video of the jam up soon.

Now the deal about coming to our jam is if JJ or i havent invited you dont bother showing up you will be told to leave and wont be able to ride, i made the flyer to tell all our good friends about it as i know most of them are slack and would forget or wouldn know. Now i have heard of alot of people wanting to come that havent talk to JJ or I. Your not welcome where still dealing with the problems you have caused us, you showed no respect told everyone about them.

Well we said we wouldn't get drunk for the next 2 weekends leading up to the trail jam, for one to not wake up hungover for once and two, to prove that we aren't alki's hahaha. Yet I sit here on this fine Sunday morning hungover, and the same yesterday morning. Alcohol found me. Shit's real. Anyway it's all Stefan's fault as usual since he's not here to enforce the non drinking law, but getting drunk in arrowtown instead. In other news, I can semi ride again, sick!! Been almost 7 weeks since I've been able to!

Trails are looking super sweet right now, we have changed one of the original lines to make the entire trails flow from start right back to finish, I shall say no more, just make sure you come and see for yourself!! And if any mountain bikers are reading this that have been constantly riding our trails and fucking them like little DISRESPECTFUL FUCKS, well, your next, know this. We will find you sooner or later you little shits. /Hate over.

And we have passed 666 unique views for all our amazing shit talking so that deserves the following video. The number of the beast!

Did heaps of gardening today jumps looking better, most of our drainage held out the down pours over the weekend. New and exciting things happening at the swampy hide out. Some pictures from the last jam, the old sign that got burnt by some dickheads, Rocky trying his best to bmx somewhere i think the beer may have improved his riding. Storms have been sweeping the better part of Marlborough for i don't know how long. The trails are no longer super dry which is a good thing, been doing plenty of digging, sleaze even gets a 3/10 for his drainage hole he made yesterday. Dirt = Dead Rats hahahahaha

OK! So here's the flyer for the trail jam above. Has most of the info you need on it however here it is again so you have no excuse for getting it wrong.

We are holding a jam at our trails on sat 21st of March. We had a excellent turnout last year and expect this year to be even better with new lines and madness happening. It will start at around 12pm, $10 entry to cover bbq and other costs. A day of riding bbqing and drinking with prizes kindly supplied by Revolutionnz and edhbmx. Following the jam there will be an afterparty at the royal here in Blenheim with full bar and bartender for my 22nd birthday, live band included! Should be off the hook! Make sure your there!
